Landscape Designer: Want someone with plant / tree knowledge, and a 'good eye' for design to help with adding plants (that have some color) and some trees going up a hill, above and below my steep, hillside driveway. Owner has an 'eye' for detail, and will know what he likes when it is shared with him.
Licensed Electrician: Remodel needs electrical completed. Mainly testing and completing some hook ups. Contracted electrician moved off island before job was completed. Likely 1-2 days work.
Master Carpenter: Major kitchen remodel needs some finishing work; mostly custom trim, etc. A couple/few days work.
Yard Work: Yard is overgrown. Needs trimming, vines and Buffalo grass removed, etc. Green waste piled and disposed…
Painter: Interior rooms & touch-ups. Also exterior concrete patio, etc., and touch-ups.
Basic Carpenter: A leaking pipe in the attic caused damage to the bedroom and bathrooms. Master bedroom, half bath, full bath, hall, living room wall, half of 2nd bedroom are stripped to studs. (Electrical and plumbing are in place). Plan is to drywall most and panel some areas of walls. Then put fixtures back with minimal custom work / cost. Estimated 7-10 days work. (This work is going on. Am seeking a back-up carpenter as this one may have to be off island for a while). Maybe TILE shower-tub.
Owner is experienced ‘owner builder’. He will be particular about kitchen (finish) work, and likes to problem solve, be creative with carpenter. Less concern is the bedroom area work.
Pay is negotiable. Paid weekly. Workers need to be available 6-8 hours a day, ideally for consecutive days. Good communication skills helpful. References required.
