Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator for a locally owned and operated construction company specializing in foundation construction, commercial and residential drilling, concrete restoration, and premium railing. Duties will include overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion, overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations, and reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliveries and estimate costs. Project Manager/Estimator Job Highlights:
Pay: Up to $90,000/yearly
Schedule: Monday to Friday, ocassional weekend work
Located: Honolulu, HI
What we look for in a Project Manager/Estimator :
Minimum five (5) years of RECENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT experience
Experience managing team and sub-contractors
Must have minimum five (5) years of RECENT estimating experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient computer skills
Reliable transportation is required
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
Reviewing the projects thoroughly to schedule deliveries and estimate costs
Coordinate and direct construction workers and sub-contractors
Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Manage tools, equipment, and materials and track inventory
Estimate building and material costs as well as order when needed
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues
Negotiate terms of agreement, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licences
