One Kalakaua Senior Living is seeking for an experienced Yoga Fitness Instructor for an immediate opening. The Fitness Instructor's primary responsibility is to lead groups of senior (average age: 88 years old) residents in fitness activities including aerobics, tai chi, chair yoga, strength training and other routines.
Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED. Personal Training Certifications or equivalent experience. Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Communicates effectively, both orally and written, using proper speech and grammar.
REASONING ABILITY: Able to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Uses good judgment, takes initiative in identifying hazards, notices residents changes in condition or other situations and responds appropriately and timely.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical effort is required in setting up for activities; some lifting required up to 25 pounds.
