This is a Full-time Clerical Assistant position.
Duties include:
- Oversee the conference paper proposals and submissions
- Manage the online paper abstract and review system
- Organize and work with the program committee on proposal reviews
- Liaise with conference program speakers, moderators, and their handlers
- Create and maintain the online conference program
- Assist with featured speakers stage management
- Maintain confidentiality and handle information with sensitivity
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Either a BBA degree in Business, Communications, or three (3) years related work experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Organization and problem-solving skills
- Proof reading skills
- Accuracy and detail-oriented
- A team player, committed to working in a positive, flexible, and collaborative manner
- Work effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Work effectively under pressure and adaptable to change
- Work simultaneously on multiple tasks and projects, and able to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient with MS Office and Gmail
Other Requirements:
- Type 55+ wpm
- Able to work weekends and/or long hours, when necessary
