The Cook sets up their workstation with required mise en place, tools, equipment and supplies according to standards. Line Cooks prepare and produce menu items for the restaurants private dining and/or bar, following recipes and yield guides, and proper plate presentation and garnish for all produced dishes. Line Cooks maintain the organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Our cooks are responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standard possible, and have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of our kitchen. Serious culinarians seeking a position among like-minded cooks will thrive here. Â
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years restaurant experience
Two years experience in a food preparation position
Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
Food Handler Certification
