Los Angeles's well known chef Chris Oh of (Seoul Sausage Co./ Chingu Hawaii/ Um.Ma. San Francisco) is looking for a motivated, creative and passionate chef.
Responsibilities "You will"
Oversee the day-to-day culinary operations and activities including, preparation, production, development and execution of recipes
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
Maintain operational control of purchasing, receiving, and inventory of all kitchen items
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs
Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
Qualifications "You have"
2-4 years of experience in a kitchen
Dedication to excellent food quality and ensuring compliance with all health and safety, and safe food handling practices
Passion for food; should be bright, seasonal, and ingredients driven
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion
Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
A flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required
