Job DescriptionHawai‘i Pacific Health is a nonprofit health care system formed in 2001 with the merger of three longtime Hawai‘i health systems. Hawai‘i Pacific Health ranks among the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide in the adoption of electronic medical records, with system-wide implementation that allows its hospitals and physicians to offer integrated, coordinated care throughout the state.The Analytics department forms part of Hawai‘i Health Partners, which provides Hawai‘i Pacific Health and its affiliates essential population utilization and financial management support, analyses and modeling.As the Population Analytics Senior Analyst, you will support initiatives for all Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals, clinics, and partnership entities including Hawai‘i Health Partners. Your role would encompass providing analysis, review, trends and projections for Hawai‘i Health Partners’ key metrics, supporting new programs development and making recommendations to ensure viability of the organization over the short and long term. Five (5) years of experience working with health care analytics and financial reporting. Demonstrated experience in supporting and maintaining information systems and/or electronic health records. Demonstrated extensive experience utilizing a variety of reporting tools to extract data and prepare ad hoc report. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Access, and/or SQL programming skills.Preferred: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Finance or Computer Science. Advanced knowledge of statistical methods or analytic techniques. Advanced knowledge and mastery of MS Access and Excel. Experience in health outcomes research. Project management experience.
