After-School All-Stars (ASAS) is one of the leading national after-school program providers in the country.
We have part-time Program Leader positions available at King Intermediate School.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The part-time Program Leader, under the direction of the Site Coordinator, is responsible for the daily implementation of the After-School All-Stars program model:
Supervise students at all times
Prepare and plan activities, teaching subjects such as all sports, art, performing arts, music, photography, gardening, cooking and any other subjects that might be of interest to middle school students.
Follow the ASAS code of student conduct when disciplining students
Experience and Education:
The successful candidate will:
Have one year or more of non-profit or related youth development program experience and a familiarity with, and passion for, working with low income youth
Have some undergraduate study
Be a self-starter with a great personality, passion for serving youth in an educational setting and the ability to mentor middle school students ensuring they have a positive, fun and educational after-school experience
Hourly Pay Rate: $15
