Located in Kapolei, Oahu's "Second City", the park features more than 25 exhilarating attractions. Nestled on 29-acres in lush tropical landscaping and natural cliffs, you will find a different adventure in each corner ideal for families and thrill seekers alike.
We are currently seeking dependable and energetic Lifeguards. We offer medical, dental and excellent park discounts.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Enforce and operate attractions rules and regulation.
Recognize and prevent safety hazards to ensure the safety of all guests and associates
Perform rescues and provide emergency care as needed.
Maintain skills at a test-ready level, pass random vigilance awareness training audits and participate in mock scenarios drill.
Working effectively individually or as a team member to follow the park facility emergency action plan.
Clean and sweep surrounding areas.
Clean, patch, and inflate tubes as needed.
Lift tables and move heavy objects.
Test ride attractions to ensure ride is in proper working condition before park opens.
Keeping employee break room area clean.
Maintain a professional image.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess excellent interpersonal, customer service and teamwork skills, maintain positive working relationships, promotes a cooperative, courteous, friendly, accommodating and respectful attitude towards customers and co-workers.
Must be able to lift, pull and/or push up to 25 pounds at a time.
Must be able to swim 50 meters - swim a depth of 5 feet and a distance of 10 feet under water to retrieve a 10-pound brick.
Must be able to attend and pass a Lifeguard certification class.
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays.
Must be able to work all shifts available.
Must be able to work in an outdoor environment in an all-weather inclement.
Must be able to work alone and without supervision.
Must be 18 years of age and over.
