Experienced accounting person needed to assist in a growing property management and real estate office in Lahaina.
Position summary
Perform bookkeeping functions such as A/P, A/R, bank deposits and maintaining general ledger.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
Maintain filing and record system to effectively organize financial information and comply with record retention laws.
Prepares financial statements
General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Tax periodic filing
Other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements
Associate Degree
3 years of bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of accounting principles
Ability to use various software including Microsoft Office products, Property management softwares (Buildium, Escapia or V12) and Quickbooks
This is a part-time position (2-3 days a week) that can lead to a full-time position. Some onsite work is required.
