Works safely in accordance with theSafety Policies

Operate machinery, presses and toolsused in the production process

Trains new assemblers as needed withinvarious work zones

Performs cross functional jobresponsibilities throughout plant operations

Must be willing to rotate to variousassignments within plant operations as needed

Lift raw materials, finished products,and packed items, manually or using lifts

Load and unload items from machines,conveyors, and carts

Hang and unhang parts from machines,conveyors, and carts

Build components used in the productionprocess

Observe equipment operation in order todetect malfunctions

Ensure customer and quality systemcompliance in areas of responsibility by conducting quality checks/tests andexamining products

Support plant cost reductions andprocess improvement projects through the use of various lean methods andtechniques

Assist in process improvement efforts byworking with the Process Engineers to identify, implement and validate processchanges

Participate in lean manufacturing aswell as plant initiatives as needed Qualifications and Requirements:

Ability to speak, read and write English, understand simple written or oral instructions

Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience

Ability to work in a team environment

Work any shift and work overtime as necessary to ensure production demands are realized

Work multiple jobs both within and outside assigned work area

Use all required safety gear and equipment

Comply with all established Plant rules and policies

Maintain an acceptable attendance record.Refer to Attendance & Punctuality Policy for complete guidelines

Must be dressed at all times in provided uniforms

Able to use power, pneumatic, and hand tools

Able to work on various machines and presses

Ability to add, subtract and multiply

Ability to pay close attention to details, meet deadlines, and work with difficult individuals

PhysicalRequirements:

Performtasks requiring hand and eye coordination, with good hand dexterity (grippingand pinching repetitively) for more than 2/3’s of work shift

Lift,carry, push, or pull objects weighing 10 pounds continuously, 25 pounds repetitivelyand 50 pounds occasionally.Lifting orcarrying objects over 50 pounds requires a two person lift, or a lift assist

Bend,twist, squat, kneel, and/or stoop repetitively 6 to 8 hours per day

Reachoverhead repetitively for more than 2/3’s of work shift

Standcontinuously for 8 to 10 hours per day

Climbup and down stairs up to 3 hours per day

Useof senses to detect quality defects and unsafe conditions

Basicvisual requirements for precision work
