Engagement Coordinator

Job Description

THE ROLE

We are looking for an Engagement Coordinator to take the lead on scaling up our engagement activities and work with our wonderful Engagement volunteers. As Engagement Coordinator, you’ll recruit and train volunteers to help in a range of supporter engagement activities, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing new engagement strategies to grow the number of supporters. You will also work closely alongside the Engagement Administrators to passionately inspire, inform and engage the public and supporters regarding our work to protect the planet, including efforts to retain supporters who are considering canceling their gifts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We’re looking for someone who’s great at motivating and instilling passion in others, and at building meaningful long-term relationships with people from all walks of life. Skills in volunteer coordination or customer service experience are essential! Technical competency in Salesforce, Microsoft, and Google Suites is highly desirable, as is experienced with online writing and digital engagement.

• At least two years’ experience in a similar role

• At least two years’ experience in relationship management and engagement

• Experience in administration

• Fundraising and sales knowledge (desirable)
