Starting hourly wage is $12.00/hour with the opportunity to go up to and $13.00/hour after the 60-day probationary period. This production position works in a production area processing poultry products. Requires working with live poultry, raw and/or cooked products. Typical assignments may include live hang, debone, cut up, evisceration, marination, stack off, Multivac, overwrap and/or shipping. Principal Duties: - Works at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products. - Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters. - Maintains a clean and safe working environment. - Participates in Company and department safety programs. Please remember the following when you report to Perry Harvest Plant’s HR office for your scheduled interview and production floor walk-through: Bring two forms of ID o Unexpired picture ID o Second form of ID is typically a Social Security card or a birth certificate Wear tennis shoes or work-type boots Business casual attire NO jewelry NO facial piercings ex: nose rings, eyebrow rings, tongue rings, studs, etc NO nail polish, including clear nail polish NO fake nails NO glitter of any kind (eye shadow, on clothes, etc) NO sagging jeans/pants NO rhinestones on clothing or eyewear NO jackets or sweaters that have hoods attached NO open toe shoes, sandals, flip-flops, shower shoes, etc. NO hair bonnets/scarves/doo rags NO pajamas/pajama pants NO skirts/dresses NO hats NO ear muffs NO candy or gum NOT following the above instructions may subject you to being released from participating in Perdue’s JPP program and application process.
Schedule
- Shift start: 8:00AM
- Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
- Days: Monday - Friday and occasional Saturdays and holidays required
