Job Description Customer Supply Chain Support2046 South Davis Road, Lagrange, GA 30241Part-Time Shift(s): Monday- Friday 20-25 hours/weekOVERVIEW:Working as Part-Time Customer Supply Chain Support, you will engage in a variety of activities to support the customer's supply chain in order to improve the performance of the Onsite business. This is an entry level position where you will build a foundation of experience in customer relationship management and operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position are service-based and will present new and diverse challenges daily. Duties include, but are not limited to:oResponding and coordinating resources relative to customer requestsoManaging inventoryoPlacing and fulfilling ordersoReceiving and shipping inventoryoExecuting inventory fulfillment within the customer facilityoSourcing and quoting new and existing productsoParticipating in continuous improvement activities and implementing new business processesoMonetizing and reporting the value of supply chain management activities to the customerREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o18 years of age or overoPossess or are working towards a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local marketoExcellent written and oral communication skillsoPossess strong computer skills and math aptitudeoHighly motivated, self-directed, and customer service orientedoBe comfortable in a sales oriented environmentoDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworkoAbility to maneuver, slide and lower packages that typically weigh up to 75lbsoAbility to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:oA valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirementsoPossess interest in career advancement.ABOUT US:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to approximately 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
