Seeking a unique individual to fill an upcoming role. Looking for someone to manage the career of an emerging artist. Responsibilities include but not limited to: dealing with clients via email, social media and in person; managing artist's social media pages; fielding and fulfilling print orders; applying to and managing show dates; helping out with in-studio chores.
The ideal person should have a knowledge of and/or a background in art or related field. Computer skills are a must. Some business background is helpful but not a prerequisite. Contacts in the art world are a definite plus. Some travel will be required. The candidate must be flexible and ready to react to situations as they develop.
The position will be part-time to start which can easily move into a full time role for the right person. Interviews will begin in late November and a start date will be discussed at that time. Competitive pay with a hybrid compensation of hourly and commission.
