Clinical Operations Coordinator Coordinator/SchedulerInpatient Psychology Solutions (IPS), is looking for a self-starting, experienced, Clinical Coordinator to join our team. The core qualities we look for in the ideal candidate include possessing the ability to operate independently, a high level of understanding of hospital workflows, and being passionate about providing the highest quality patient care. This person will be responsible for ensuring all patients are seen each day by the appropriate provider. as well as supporting the clinical process by completing other support tasks associated with care delivery.IPS is an Augusta, GA-based healthcare organization that provides behavioral health services to local healthcare facilities including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes. Founded in 2019, we are in an exciting growth stage with multiple expansion opportunities in the near-term and opportunity for growth and leadership within the company.Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversee clinical delivery ensuring all patients are seen by the appropriate medical provider each day
Manage incoming referrals from contracted facilities in the Augusta area
Communicate with relevant points of contact at partner facilities
Liaise with providers to support the clinical team in the field and in the office
Oversee patient encounter/provider referral completion
Oversee patient encounter follow up needs and coordination
Coordinate the filing of relevant paperwork and organization of company documents
Cordinate the prior authorization process
Oversee and build weekly provider schedule
Work with the management team to implement key initiatives inclusive of technology and processes
Qualifications:
Prior healthcare experience is essential
Attention to detail and a high level of organization are crucial
Understanding of insurance payor,
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google document suite
Prior Mental health experience is a plus
Exceptional communication skills
Confidence speaking on the phone
Confident learning new technology systems
Kareo PM / MDCoder experience a plus
Experience working with / managing healthcare providers
