We are seeking a temporary part time Accounts Payable person who may also serve as a payroll data entry backup. Currently, the position would require between 16 and 24 hours/week. This position will most likely become a full time position within 2 months.
Responsibilities:
Open mail, date stamp and distribute
Verify invoice items and check calculations
Data entry into accounting software
Prep check runs, match backup to checks, have checks signed, and distributed
Reconcile vendor statements
Data entry of timecards for payroll
Desired Qualifications:
Two to three years of construction industry experience.
Prior experience in Accounts Payable
QuickBooks experience would be helpful but not necessary.
Detail oriented, organized, and able to interface effectively with a multitude of personalities.
Requirements:
Must possess a great deal of common sense and business sense.
You must be comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new software.
