We have an opportunity for a Project Scheduler and Controls Specialist with an established track record of construction delivery background, providing pre-construction planning tools, detailed construction delivery scheduling, project controls integration including engineering, procurement and cost controls, and facility start-up experience in executing Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)/Design-Build projects within the environmental services market (Industrial process, remediation, etc.). The Project Scheduler and Controls Specialist function is seen as a key member of the overall project delivery team. This role will provide leadership in platform and tool development in addition to extensive coordination with all aspects of the delivery team utilizing the candidate's construction delivery background to establish scheduling work products, project timelines, performance indicators, risk management and recovery strategies. It is anticipated that the candidate will be required to support multiple projects at different phases of development and provide insight to the proposed delivery plan and overall status as it relates to the overall contract requirements and internal performance requirements.The effective execution of this role will include support of both senior project management as well as field construction delivery forces to support and expedite the installation operations. Aspects of the role during the commission and start-up phase of the project will require equipment supplier interface and coordination, start-up plan development and final turnover documentation. The successful candidate will be based at respective office locations with travel to field locations, regional offices and design centers.Job Expectations:This role will support a wide range of tasks during the overall life cycle of a project; Primary focus will be on delivering IPD industrial water/wastewater and remediation project solutions to both existing and new clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the IPD operations delivery lead, and associated project management and technical staffs. Additional expectations include:Develop and maintain project schedules associated with preliminary planning and fully developed construction schedules utilized during the delivery phase of the project.Integrate with project management to support the field communication between owner's representative, subcontractors and suppliersDevelop and implement tools and procedures to update, maintain and report on projects at both the project and enterprise levels.Coordinate with project management team to establish integrated cost control and reporting systems based on established project metrics and benchmarking.Support change management documentation and impact scenarios associated with variations to the contract documents and claim adjudication.Support procurement planning and coordination of materials and services For full info follow application link.Brown and Caldwell is proud to be an EEO/AAP Employer-Minorities/Women/Disabled/Protected Veterans are encouraged to apply.
