Network Administrator, MidKey Role:Maintain responsibility for monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing network and service incidents in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the resolution of all problems with the network, infrastructure, and services offered by the organization. Employ IT technical skills, communicate effectively, and maintain a customer-centric mentality at all times. Use various networking tools to troubleshoot and resolve customer and service issues in a timely and efficient manner. Investigate and resolve problems, inefficiencies, and performance issues. Provide project and task leadership to junior administrators. Oversee small to medium network project implementations with some direction from management, as needed.Basic Qualifications:-6+ years of experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing network and service incidents-Experience with providing complex routing and switching solutions in a Cisco environment-Knowledge of multi-protocol support, with mutual redistribution of routing protocols-Ability to provide troubleshooting support to day-to-day operational and support functions, including monitoring and maintaining a ticket queue-Ability to develop and document templates for use as best practices within the team-Ability to assess, design and implement network and security products or solutions-Ability to obtain a security clearance-HS diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications:-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including both technical and non-technical communication-Active security clearance-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Security, or Information SystemsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.We are proud of our diverse environment.
