Industrial Products & Construction Customer Strategy & Applied Design ManagerOur Customer Strategy & Applied Design team focuses on helping clients discover, design and prototype customer growth strategies and innovation portfolios to create and drive change in a digital world. Our team of professionals has deep capabilities in strategy, customer experience, digital strategy and innovation.Work You'll DoA Manager at Deloitte will manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for Consumer & Industrial Products including manufacturing, retail, distribution and wholesale clients. Key responsibilities will include:Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support proceduresFormulate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategiesManage full life cycle implementationsDevelop statements of work and/or client proposalsIdentify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architectureExperience with program leadership, governance and change enablementDevelop and manage vendor relationshipsLead workshops for client educationManage resources and budget on client projectsAssist and drive the team by providing oversightRequired Qualifications5 years at a design strategy consultancy or other professional services environment in an innovation/digital role (Sr. Manager level)A minimum of 5 years experience working in or consulting to Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Products and/or Construction sitesDemonstrated experience as a client-facing advisor5 years experience planning and implementing projectsExperience implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlinesExperience reporting to C-level client contracts, managing client teams, in addition to on-site and off-site and off-shore functional and technical teams.Must have experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancementsAbility to travel 80-100% of the time (Monday Thursday/Friday)A Bachelor s degreeMust live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte s consulting officesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred SkillsSenior lead experience on complex, international, multi-currency and multi-organization implementations5 years of consulting experience which includes: contributing to requests for proposals (RFP), client presentations, detailing scope of work (SOW)Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodologyStrong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgementExperience mentoring junior staffThe Team: Industrial Products & ConstructionThe Industrial Products & Construction sector is undergoing rapid advances in supply chain management, advanced analytics capabilities, Smart Buildings, and Industry 4.0 innovation.
