We are looking for an early morning baker who will primarily mix and shape dough. The early morning shift starts at 4am. We are looking for someone who is a good team member, reliable, and is on time to work. This job also requires heavy lifting and availability on holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities
Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
Mixing and shaping dough
Maintaining a clean and organized bakery
Assist with any other production needs such as: finishing pastries, prepping ingredients for dough, baking bread, organizing deliveries, cleaning dishes and deep cleaning projects
Skills
Experience as a Baker, Pastry Cook or similar role is preferred
Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, scales and dough sheeters is preferred
Understanding of food safety practices
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
Must be able to work in early morning shifts and show up on time
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 /hour
