The Halic lab combines functional research with biochemistry and cryo-EM to study how heterochromatic proteins recognize and modify chromatin structure. In this role you will utilize state-of-the-art techniques in molecular biology and cell biology and will perform protein purification, cloning, and work with yeast and bacteria.
