DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturingprocesses related to product launch in industrial plantCoordinate sales, product engineering, andmanufacturing teams to meet customer’s timeline of launch programs.Attend gate reviews and maintain reporting oflaunch phase activities.Coordinate all APQP activities and assist withthe preparation of all PPAP documentation where needed.Develops and evaluates manufacturing capacity,and methods, used for new product launch.Recommends new equipment and manpower needs fornew products.May be given certainauthority within job scope by ManagerEach employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent aviolation of the Federal-Mogul Integrity Policy.All employees will abide by the plant’s safety policy, comply withthe legal and other requirements and operational controls established,work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform toprocedures consistent with the ISO 14001 standard. An employee should report, and if necessarystop, any activity that does not conform to the policy or may injurehimself/herself.Capable of providingsupport as requested by supervisor.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree from four-year accredited college oruniversity in a related engineering field; or 4 or more years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. Six Sigma Certification is preferred.To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experienceand education must be related to manufacturing, industrial, electrical,mechanical, or similarly related field. Experience working in a high speedmanufacturing environment is highly preferred.
