As a Care Navigator , you will be responsible for the following accountabilities and expectations:Primary Responsibilities:

Handle outbound / inbound member calls

Schedule provider appointments

Enrollment of new patients into systems

Metrics based – quality & performance

Resolve customer service inquiries

Provide excellent customer service to both providers and enrollees

Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining good attendance

Skills with providing public sector customer service

Member engagement

Maintain confidential health information according to state and federal regulations including HIPAA

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

Bilingual fluency in English and Korean

1+ years of call center and / or telephonic customer service experience

6+ months of professional experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job duties

Work experience using Microsoft Word (edit, create & save documents), Microsoft Excel (sorting & filtering data), and Microsoft Outlook (email, folders, attachments and calendaring)

Must be available to work Monday – Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm local time

This is a 100% telecommute role, but you must be willing to work out of the Atlanta, GA office, if requested, for meetings or as otherwise directed

Reside within Georgia within a commutable distance to Atlanta, GA

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high - speed internet connection or leverage an existing high - speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

Internet connection or leverage an existing high - speed internet service

Healthcare or insurance benefits experience

Social work or community outreach experience

Previous experience as a telecommute

Medicaid and / or Medicare experience

Soft Skills:

Must be able and comfortable with maintaining metrics and goals within the department

Must be comfortable working on the phone and multiple systems on the computer simultaneously while assisting members

Must be comfortable making outreach to members without prior engagement

Excellent Organizational Skills

Telephone etiquette

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas

Required to have a work area in a section of the residence that provides information priva

Required to keep all Company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
