United States of America - Florida, TampaJob SummaryAECOM ’s Global Information Technology group is seeking a SharePoint Solutions Architect to join our systems management team in Tampa, FL.The primary focus of this role is to provide SharePoint solutions architecture services for AECOM globally as a platform expert in corporate IT enterprise applications.The ideal candidate should have a deep-seated knowledge of SharePoint on-premise and SharePoint online development and will step in and take the reins when it comes to developing roadmaps, providing direction, establishing best practices and governance for all supported components.As the SharePoint Solutions Architect at AECOM, you will be required to:
Serve as the IT subject matter expert (SME) for the SharePoint on-premise and SharePoint Online environments.
Help to define the service offerings and establish direction, governance, provisioning and best practices for all the supported SharePoint environments.
Provide dedicated SharePoint administrative support for AECOMONLINE (extranet environment at Rackspace):
Maintenance of SharePoint servers in relation to upgrades, patches and monitoring on the farm
Provide basic support of sites on the farm (non-app development support)
Ongoing site decommissioning and archival (currently in progress)
Assist with Okta Account Management for employees and external Non-AECOM users
Work with the infrastructure, identity management, network services, security and development teams for project-based assignments including proof-of-concept, analysis, design/architecture and deployment coordination for multiple and evolving on-premise SharePoint and SharePoint online environments.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Strategic guidance and technical leadership on Office 365 collaboration tools and SharePoint Infrastructure projects
Technical accountability throughout project lifecycle
Oversight of infrastructure, capacity and performance planning
Work closely with project managers, team members and other stakeholders to analyze problems, define requirements and develop solutions.
Ensure adherence to security requirements and processes to maintain highest level of protection for the on premise and Cloud environments
Solution Prototyping and Design
Deploy and maintain third-party add-ons
Provide guidance and direction on administrator responsibilities to include farm maintenance, administration and configuration as needed.
Provide clear concise guidance and direction to external consultants and 3rd party vendors on day to day support of the environments and on project related work
Production and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation
Review and implement technical standards including quality reviews
Mentoring, leadership and knowledge sharing
Lead multiple projects with multiple resources including 3rd parties and external vendors.
Maintain excellent knowledge about existing and emerging technologies, and lead analyses as required to support the technology roadmap
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field and 6+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working as a SharePoint architecture supporting and managing collaboration tools in the Office 365 environment
Experience establishing authentication solutions, security models, identity management, governance, and best practices for on premise SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and other O365 collaborative environments
Experience implementing and/or administrating Microsoft SharePoint server 2013 and 2016
Experience in configuring SharePoint online
Strong PowerShell experience highly desired
Strong networking skills, including WAN/VPN
Experience in configuring SharePoint Hybrid preferred
Ability to balance on-going projects with day to day emergencies, and manage expectations accordingly
Ability to express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, and translate technical terms into business language
Ability to establish and maintain positive service-oriented working relationships with peers, project consultants, vendors and cross-functional team members from a variety of business functions
Ability to write clear, logical reports and instructions
Ability to work independently on assigned projects with limited supervision
Experience in working with a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed, and team-based project environment
Should be well organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task in high-pressure situations
Ability to meet establish priorities and schedules
Microsoft certification in relevant areas highly preferred
Experience with Azure platform and Google analytics a plus
Knowledge of Coveo (federated search tool) and Box a plus
