We have an opening for part-time FOOD SVC UTILITY position.

Location: Bayfront Medical Center, 701 6th St. South St. Petersburg, FL 33701. /Note: online applications accepted only./

Schedule: P/T, Must be able to work 12 hour shifts - 7am to 7:30pm during the week and 8am - 8pm on weekends.

Requirement: Previous storeroom and stocking/dishwashing/sanitation experience preferred- but not required.

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Is able to set-up the dishmachine and ensure that it is running properly and has the proper chemicals

Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.

Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.

Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.

Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.

Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

Helps load and unload supplies and product.

Sweeps and mops all areas of the kitchen / cafeteria

Completes daily/weekly cleaning assignments

Retrieves patient meal carts from nursing floors and brings to the dishroom

Performs other duties as assigned.
