Specific duties for this role include:
Plan virtual desktop and published application strategy and design solutions
Plan and execute operational and security focused projects and tasks for the reliability and integrity of the virtual desktop and published application systems. Examples below.
Migration of virtual desktop from persistent to non-persistent model
Migration of published applications from vendor A to vendor B
Implementation of secured internet gateway for access
Investigates and resolves problems and escalated incidents.
Assist team with support for additional technology such as load balancing, proxy, reverse proxy, virtual desktop, file and print services.
Participate in on-call rotation for escalations.
Additional work location avialble in Palm Beach County.Job OverviewThis position installs, configures, and maintains computing infrastructure, operating systems, and middleware products on all computer platforms, including mainframes, workstations, and servers - including web servers - in support of 24-hour-per-day, seven-day-per-week business processes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Evaluates, implements, and modifies operating system software parameters and product solutions for optimum performance Identifies integration and other interface requirements for all supported products and platforms Serves as a technical escalation point for technicians and customers Troubleshoots hardware, system and application issues Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications High School Grad / GED Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience Experience: 5+ years
