SUMMARYThe Junior Operations Trainer is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operations Trainer with the delivery of high-quality training aligned with Westgate's business needs and objectives. This includes helping with administration and delivery of the CFT program, as well as other L&D program and learning events as appropriate.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and other duties may beassigned.Coordinate participant applications to programs, support registration and scheduling, monitor and track attendance, and overall documentation associated with training.Assist with facilitating fundamental instructor-led training (ILT) and blended learning programs.Help monitor learning paths for team members in LMS.Assist with Property Orientation at resorts.Support distribution of surveys to participants.Other responsibilities associated with supporting L&D learning events as appropriate.QUALIFICATIONSBackground in Learning/Training, and/or experience as a Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similarSome knowledge of adult learning principles and training best practicesExcellent inter-personal and communication skillsConflict resolution and customer relation skillsProficient in time management, organization, planning and prioritizationHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, OutlookWork hours may vary to include weekends and evenings as directedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE1+ year of experience delivering and/or supporting adult learning programs using a variety of learning methodsLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers/stakeholders,or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information totraining classes, management, public groups, and/or leaders.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra andgeometry.REASONING ABILITIESAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
