VIP DESTIN MAGAZINE is seeking full-time Account Executives with a proven track record in advertising sales to add to our team. Our unique magazines offer outstanding sales opportunities for an outgoing, driven individual with a positive attitude who can confidently interact with business owners and decision makers. Our oversized, glossy, social and lifestyle magazines are a smart, fun, and rewarding place for businesses to use their marketing dollars.

Requirements:

Identifying and Pre-Qualify businesses for advertising in VIP Destin Magazine

Close new sales opportunities; meet or exceed target sales goals

Plan, prepare, and execute high impact meetings with prospects and partners

Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of VIP products and services

Represent VIP at local social, community, and business events

Excel in a fast-paced sales environment

Participate in sales training and meetings

Experience:

A record of selling success

Print sales a plus

Must be fully competent with MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Print and Digital media sales experience is helpful.

A self-motivated individual with proven ad sales experience.

Essential to have a professional with a sincere telephone manner and an accommodating approach.

Most sales will be achieved during in person sales meetings.

Must be a team player willing to cooperate in pursuing all the opportunities that our magazines have to offer.

Flexibility and ability to succeed in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Deliver and exceed revenue goals set by the company

Negotiate with agencies/clients on all details of campaigns

Work closely with Account Manager to oversee all aspects of booked advertising campaigns through completion

Work with the Sales Development team on presentation materials and proposals

Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

Maintain weekly pending reports for accurate accounting of all pending/working business

Help to build a positive and inclusive culture within VIP Destin Magazine.
