PART/FULL TIME POSITION for 24 - 40 hours/week SAT/SUN and weekday shift: Looking for friendly, caring and energetic person to provide in-home assistance for my widowed 89 yr old Mother with small dog. Currently receiving 24/7 care, due to potential fall risk, by a team of three independent caregivers. Mom is mobile, but requires assistance in performing her daily routine. We are in need of a fourth caregiver to provide relief in daily 24 hour coverage schedule which will involve coverage on the weekends. Duties shall include mental engagement through conversation and playing games, assisting with daily physical exercise routine, outdoor walks and activities, household organization and cleaning, laundry with ironing as required, church services and activities and on various errands as required, performing blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring, administering twice a day insulin shots, preparing a low salt diabetic meals with clean-up afterwards, supervising the taking of her twice daily medications, assistance with showering and toilet duties, bedtime preparation at the end of the day. Duties shall also include the care of her small dog (ie: walking and feeding). Must have experience and submit references. Must have valid FL Driver's License and submit to Eglin AFB background/security screening in order to obtain base access pass. START DATE: 6/22
