Work Hours/Shift: Full Time Days, 40 hours per week.You Will Be Responsible For:
Transports patients to the OR suites via stretcher or bed safely
Performs patient transfers safely utilizing safety devices
Follows Patient Identification Policy
Responds to intercom calls in a timely manner (<5Min)
Cleans and assembles appropriate equipment and supplies according to Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) standards
Removes bio hazardous materials according to policy
Transports surgical specimens to pathology and laboratory according to policy
Ensures stock levels meet daily requirements
Tags and Reports malfunctioning equipment promptly
Restocks scrub sink areas, locker rooms and fluid/blanket warmers
Demonstrates knowledge of different beds, positioning devices and equipment in the Operating room
QualificationsWhat You Will Need:
Must be able to read and write English Language
High School Diploma
American Heart Association’s BLS certification
