The Good Health Clinic is a not-for-profit with offices in Tavernier and Marathon that provides free health care to uninsured Florida Keys residents in need. We operate a caring, compassionate and professional medical office. The Medical Receptionist fulfill all duties typically associated with a medical clinic front office, in addition to special functions including processing applications for patient eligibility, managing referrals, and assisting providers. We are seeking an individual to work full time at our Tavernier office
Duties include but not limited to:
- Overseeing patient flow, check-in and answer phones
- Schedule appointments and coordinate laboratory services and referral
- Manage scheduling system
- Oversee application process
- Update and file patients paper and electronic records
- Assist in clinical duties as needed, including occasional procedure assistance
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in a medical office setting
- Minimum of a high school diploma required
- Strong computer skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and a desire to help people
- Reliable transportation

- Ability to work effectively and respectfully with people of varying backgrounds and all levels, with support
staff, and with healthcare professionals
- High level of problem solving skills and ability to perform critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Opportunity to expand responsibilities available to right candidate. Compensation DOE. Paid holidays and time off. Full-time, (Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm)
