Home medical equipment company's Jacksonville location now hiring delivery technicians. Job requirements include picking up route information, loading van with equipment and delivering equipment throughout Jax area. After setting equipment up in a patient's home, patient will then need to be instructed on how to properly and safely use the equipment. At the end of the day, van will need to be unloaded, and rental equipment picked up that day will need to be cleaned and stored in a warehouse. Equipment includes wheelchairs, hospital beds, oxygen concentrators, etc. Must be in good physical shape to lift heavy equipment such as beds and wheelchairs. Must be available to work late on weekdays and receive overtime on a regular basis. Must be available to work "on-call" per a rotating schedule with other drivers on certain weekends. Per the state of Florida law, because you will be entering the homes of medically fragile patients, it is mandatory that you pass a level 2 background check, no felonies, no exceptions.
