Actor wanted who is either openly gay, or straight, but has the ability to play a gay character.
Purpose = The purpose of this would be for me to show case my acting skills, and basically prepare a demo to be sent here or there in hopes of selling 'skit' to studios, ext.
Here's the deal folks, this idea that you're just going to walk into some Hollywood studio, audition, impress, get hired, and cast in a movie has kind of died out with the 1960's, where back then all Elvis Presley had to do was walk into music studio next to drug store, and next thing you know he's signed.
Sadly, those days are gone.
Now days you basically have to promote yourself, you have to create a ready to view demo of your talent and crash send it everywhere until noticed.
Q&A
1. Why do you want or need actor to be 'gay'?
Answer, cause for years I've always had ideas in head about the absurdity of people who are homophobic, and no better way than to demonstrate this through parody and or short comedy skits.
Not only that, but if one is already comfortable being gay, not hard for them to pretend their 'straight', but if one is straight, can be difficult in them playing a 'gay' character, like a 'gay Gilligan', that's been my experience with people.
2. Also, in order to stand out anymore, you have to be original, come up with fresh content, and to me a 'straight' vs 'gay' Abbott and Costello routine has never been done, or a straight vs gay Gilligan/Skipper or ect.
(All clean of course)
But in to stand out, to sell your ideas to studios, have to be willing to go where others afraid to, or like a gay vs straight 'Odd Couple'.the comedy there is endless if creative.
But it all starts with 'demos', ready to view demos of short 1-5 minute skits that can be sent to studios, and or aired on YT.
Just not ready to give up on dreams yet, cause that's when life becomes mundane and dull.
Will be compensated $50.00 an hour when actually video taping demo.
And will be paid a fee for initial interview or 'screening' to see if you're the right fit, and or if it's what you had in mind.
And again, rated 'G' stuff folks, just funny hilarious short skits that gay people and straight people go through daily as they interact.
Comedic or parody acting is having the ability to say 'shame on you for acting this or that way' or 'shame on you for treating this person that way', but able to send that message in a entertaining way.
And if we get our act down good enough, I can see 'Live' improve acts as well, next thing you know we're on 'The view'(Ye, I wish)

Ultimate dream would be to develop short skits into an actual TV series, no, not with me in itlol.
Prestigious schools like 'San Francisco School of Arts' are always looking for new ideas, and if skits good enough, could actually possible get scholarship to such a place, not me, but possible you.all I want to do is 'sell' or 'pitch' idea.
