The News-Press is currently looking to speak with individuals interested in delivering newspaper routes on Sanibel Island. This is a contract opportunity working 7 days a week delivering newspapers with your own vehicle. You are running your own business. As the business owner, you responsible for deliveries everyday. This is a great opportunity for someone who already works on the island or needs additional income. This is a part time opportunity, not full time. You are running your own business.
These opportunities require the following:
-An extremely reliable vehicle
-The ability to deliver or have a reliable substitute 7 days a weeks
-The ability to arrive at our facility at 12:30 am each night
-Superior customer service skills - paper placement and delivery instructions are to be followed
-Someone who needs to be to work at another job before 8:00 am need not apply
These are seasonal routes, meaning the when the snowbirds arrive the number of papers you will deliver increases dramatically. You can access your papers between 12:30 am and 1:00 am each night. Delivery of these routes takes a few hours now, but increases to 4 to 5 hours IN season.
We provide a transponder after 30 days and you are reimbursed for your tolls.
