Reports to the Director, Science Advising and Academic Support Services, or appropriate administrator in Academic Support Services.

Assists the Director with the administration, direction and/or supervision of one or more academic program area(s), which include program review, planning, or research.

Manages one or more academic support services functions and formulates and recommends policies and procedures to effectively administer such programs.

Interprets academic support services policies and procedures and recommends new and improved programs to effectively manage academic support services administration.

Assists the Director with ensuring that the goals and objectives are communicated and met; provides leadership and policy direction as appropriate.

Advises and assists the Director with planning, directing and reporting academic program activity, and developing and implementing procedures for academic program area(s).

May represent the Director on system wide or state committees.

Collects and analyzes data as appropriate.

Coordinates all Continuing Education Program implementation and administrative support for the College of Science, working directly with Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies, and both Directors of Science and Pre-Health Advising. Specifically, duties for the Continuing Education portfolio include: serving as an administrator for Touchnet/Marketplace (or other management system adopted by FAU), creating products, processing payments/refunds, providing general management and support for continuing education programs, and serving as liaison to BRRH for Continuing Education Programs.

Performs related duties as required or deemed appropriate to the accomplishment of the responsibilities and functions of his/her academic program area(s).

May function for the Director in his/her absence.

Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree from an accredited institution and two years of advising or appropriate experience required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are essential to success in this position.Must have excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.Must have experience with Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables), Power Point (Presentation), Webfocus/Leapahead, Data entry, MS Office Suite, Banner, Workday, and Adobe.Salary:$50,000 - $55,000College or Department:College of ScienceLocation:Boca RatonWork Days and Hours:Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Occasional nights and weekends.Application Deadline: 2019-09-03-07:00Special Instructions to Applicant: Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodation, please call 561-297-3057. 711Final candidate will be required to have official, sealed transcripts and original NACES evaluation, if applicable, sent from their educational institution to Human Resources prior to the start of employment.
