Busy general contractor is looking for experienced construction superintendent to join our company for interior renovations.
This person will be responsible for the onsite supervision of a project, including but not limited to:
Working with municipal authorities to coordinate permit inspections.
Communicating goals and objectives to the entire jobsite team.
Ensuring quality control in all aspects of the construction process.
Ensuring adherence to the project safety procedures by all jobsite personnel.
Direct supervision of all subcontracted work.
Communicating future manpower and material requirements to the project manager.
Recognition and tracking of extra work items.
Ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
Maintaining accurate daily jobsite records and completion of daily reports for the project.
Preparing and submitting weekly timesheets and daily progress photos.
Successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
10 years supervision experience.
Ability to interpret and coordinate construction drawings
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
Must have valid drivers' license, willingness to travel a plus
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and be able to pass a drug & alcohol test.
OSHA training
Must have your own tools and truck
