The Metal Recycling Company is looking for an experienced manager to lead and oversee the operations of the facility. The company expects the highest level of customer service from all of our employees, starting with our management team. The successful applicant must be a motivated, self-starter who is able to excel and direct their team.
Qualifications
Minimal 2+ years of managerial experience
General knowledge of the metal recycling industry
Ability to work 45+ hours per week
Ability to handle money (previous experience is preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven teamwork and leadership skills
Basic computer skills
Must be mechanically inclined
Legally eligible to work in the United States
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pass pre-employment screening
Responsibilities
Strategically manage yard to ensure optimal production
Assist in purchasing and processing material
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions for repair to upper management
Train and supervise employees
Diligently follow company safety policies and safety rules
Act as a liaison between staff and ownership
Performs all other duties as assigned
