Welcome to Nova Dental Partners! We are a family owned established dental practice that is seeking an beginner dental assistant. We offer a friendly and caring work atmosphere, a team environment, and competitive pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. Our offices are located in Alexandria, VA and Woodbridge, VA and the position is between 36-40 hours per week. We look forward to hearing from you!
Primary Job Duties Include:
Assist the dentist and hygienist with dental treatments as instructed
Update medical histories and patient records
Prepare instruments, clean treatment areas, sterilize equipment
Keeping the dental lab and operatory neat and organized
Instruct patients on proper home care instructions
Ideal Candidate:
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
Strong organizational and administrative skills you see what needs to be done and do it
Must be articulate and service-oriented
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
Reliable, prompt, and dependable
