Summary

DIRT is a counter casual restaurant opening in Ballston in late March / early April. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, motivated, and responsible kitchen managers to prepare delicious breakfast (all day), salads, sandwiches, plates, toasts, and soups for our guests in a fast-paced work environment.

The Opportunity

As a member of the DIRT team, you will be an ambassador of our core values by helping to creative a positive, inclusive environment for other employees and our guests. You will be responsible for crafting personalized, high-quality food for our guests. We are looking for true team players who are willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to keep DIRT running smoothly and ensure that guests are satisfied.

Scheduling Staff + Assisting in New Hire Interviews

Experience & Education

2+ Years Experience as a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef / Chef

5+ Years Experience as a restaurant team member

Passion for chef-driven food, menu development, and entrepreneurship

Knowledge of food values and nutrition

ServSafe Food Handler's Certificate

At least a high school diploma

Physical Abilities

Regularly lifting food trays / items weighing up to 50 pounds

Bending, kneeling, and stooping

Standing for long periods of time

Working in a hot environment
