This position executes general cooking duties at The Deli stage. Under limited supervision, works from assigned recipes or specific instructions to cook and prepare food.

Job Functions as a cook :

- Responsible for preparing hot and cold >food .

- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

- Keeping area neat and clean

- Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold.

- Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.

- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.

- Pre-cook items such as bacon, in order to prepare them for later use.

- Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee and fountain drinks.

- Prepare specialty foods such as pizzas, fish and chips, sandwiches, and tacos, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.

- Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.

- Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity. Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.

- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.

- Schedule activities and equipment use with managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times.

- Serve orders to customers at counters, or tables.

- Take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers`

- Controlling waste; following company procedures, rules and regulations and helping other areas when necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Three years of kitchen experience.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Qualifications:

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs.

- Must have good communication skills to communicate with customers .

Working Conditions:

- Flexible shift required, including weekends and holidays.

- Work area subject to extreme heat.

Job Functions as a cashier :

Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.

- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

- Communicate customer requests to management.

- Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and accurately maintain all cash and media at the registers.

- Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked.

- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager.

Skills and Competencies:

- Ability to process information/merchandise through Micro POS.

- Ability to communicate with associates and customers

- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.

- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job

Basic Qualifications:

- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Two years of cashier experience.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
