Part-time Child Care Center Staff at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer (McLean)

Staff positions available at Redeemer Renaissance After-School Program Summer Camp. If you are at least 18 years old, enjoy working with children and are available for summer fun, work with us as we provide care for K-6 graders from 8:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. weekdays. Hours are flexible, and planned for the entire summer. A Criminal Background Check (fingerprint), Central Registry Check completed by VA Department of Social Services, current CPR and First Aid training, and a negative TB test result are required. Staff must also complete the Sworn Statement of the Criminal Record Check. Previous experience working with children is a plus, although training and support are provided. Summer Camp Staff work under the supervision of the Program Director and regular staff. On-site activities, field trips and enrichment are scheduled throughout the summer and vary each week. Leadership ability and communication skills are key in ensuring campers enjoy their day in a safe, caring environment.
