Green Valley Montessori School, located between Clarksburg and Urbana started in 2012 and offers Montessori Education for children 2 - 6 years young. We are starting Infant/Toddler program from Jan 2019 and looking for Lead Teachers as well as Assistants and Aides/helpers.
For Lead teachers,though our preference is someone with Montessori certification, one can apply if you have Associate or Bachelors degree in Early childhood education and have all the required training/credentials needed by Maryland State Office of childcare, plus 3-5 of experience leading an infant/toddler classroom. The Lead teacher qualification will be validated with Office of Childcare before employment is confirmed.
The Lead teachers should be team players, have good oral and written communication skills, basic computer knowledge such as creating newsletters using Microsoft Word, very energetic and active and punctual to work.
The Assistant/Aide positions need not have Associate degree, but should have 90 hours Infant/Toddler certification. The openings are available full time (8.30am - 5:00pm), Part-time for assistants (8am - 3pm; 2pm - 6pm) etc.
