Requirements:
1. At least 2 years of experience in college consulting
2. Degree from a reputable undergraduate program
3. Strong writing skills
4. Be able to provide previous sample college application essays that the applicant has helped students write upon request
5. Be able to provide a list of colleges that applicant has helped students be admitted to
6. Be able to provide a list of references of parents/students the applicant has helped in the past.
Compensation:
Potomac Oak Tutoring compensates college consultants either on an hourly basis (hourly rate depends on experience, but ranges from $50+/hour) or on a commission basis (commission depends on the package that student sign up for, but ranges from $500 - $1,250).
