We offer personal sales training and coaching to assist during the first 6-12 months focused solely on tree work sales to assist you in your transition to a full time sales arborist.
Green Vista Tree Care in Springfield, VA is seeking a sales arborist to add to our growing team. We are a professional and highly reputable company that pays high attention to detail and customer service. Most of our customers are repeat/referral residential & commercial clients that use us exclusively because they expect a certain level of service. A professional sales arborist would thrive and have room to grow in this rapidly growing business.
The sales area would be focused around western Fairfax county areas. However, the sales area also includes all areas of northern VA during a high demand situation. A company truck will be provided as well as a phone and tablet for business operations. More details provided during interview process.
Requirements
-Minimum 3 year green industry sales experience and knowledge of tree work
-Certified arborist or willing to become a certified arborist within first 12 months
-Able to meet & communicate with crew leaders effectively for swift project management and delivery of services. (No “go backs” or mistakes)
-Available for duty Monday-Friday from 7-5 and Saturday’s from 8-12 for estimates and 24/7 emergency storm work situations. (All estimates are done by appointment only)
-Technologically savvy as we do everything on a digital platform.
-Professional
-Customer service minded and extremely responsive to emails, calls, texts, etc.
-Know how to sell and willing to take constructive criticism to become a better salesman in the tree care industry (this a lucrative business but it’s tough, and there’s alway something to learn)
We are commission only pay, a decent salesman should make enough sales early enough where a base salary isn’t necessary. We have a structure and a minimum expectation in place. More details will be provided during interview process.
