Tax Supervisor/Manager wanted for growing established public accounting firm located in Northern Virginia metropolitan area. Candidate must have 10 years of recent public accounting experience and be knowledgeable and proficient with complex tax planning and tax preparation and have utilized practical review skills for all types of tax returns, including corporate entities, trusts, estates and individuals. Good communications and organizational skills with ability to independently prioritize workload a must. Qualified applicants must have recent hands-on experience with CCH ProSystem FX and Quickbooks software. Salary and benefits competitive for Washington DC metropolitan area. Tax Supervisor/Manager Position requires:
CPA certification.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Tax.
At least 10 years of recent experience in public accounting profession.
Practical application of accounting and tax principles at Federal and state levels.
Ability to critique and review tax planning and tax returns prepared by other accounting and tax professionals.
Capability of independently managing multiple priorities simultaneously in deadline-driven environment.
Aptitude to mentor and provide guidance to other developing professionals in correct application of accounting and tax principles.
Proficiency with CCH ProSystem and Quickbooks software programs.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
