We are a well respected Montgomery County-based commercial real estate appraisal company looking for some part time help, hopefully on a long term basis. Probably around 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a commercial banking or commercial real estate finance background. Good candidates are retired commercial bankers or former commercial bankers that want to work from home while raising children or caregiving someone.
We are a service oriented company that deals with commercial real estate appraisals in the Baltimore-Washington region (north to Howard and Frederick County and south to Fairfax County) so we require someone who is willing to drive to inspect and photograph comparable properties. Inspections can be scheduled at your convenience. The job can be done mostly from your home office.
Qualifications:
Good business writing skills are required (work samples required)
Must have a high level of punctuality.
Must be computer savvy and comfortable working within Microsoft Office and Excel.
Drivers license is required with reliable transportation. A car is required for this job (milage will be reimbursed).
Must live within a 30 min drive to the owner's office in Olney, MD.
