Ideal candidate will have experience in assisting with the planning, executing, and hosting visits with internal and external VIP guests within the UnitedHealth Group Innovation and Experience Center, as well as internal and external virtual events. This candidate will have an aptitude for technology and extensive experience surrounding large Audio and Video systems and IT infrastructure; as well as experience and a high comfort level working with government officials, C-suite executives, customers, etc. showcasing innovative healthcare technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Extremely organized professional with experience in hosting high profile client events
  • Maintaining and controlling large scale integrated Audio/Video systems with various interfaces and operating systems
  • Organizing and supporting events, demonstrations and exhibits with cutting edge technology such as tablets, touch screens, personal devices, and mobile applications
  • Technical execution of in-person, hybrid, and virtual engagements, meetings, and tours
This person needs the following skills:
  • Proactive, self-starter
  • Executive presence and understanding of how to effectively host customers, executives, government officials, etc.
  • General understanding of the business of healthcare in-order to deliver impactful presentations and event management
  • Advanced technology understanding to bring together all elements to create a seamless experience internally and externally
  • Detail oriented for maintenance logs, issues, and metrics tracking
  • Fostering relationships with vendors and facilities management

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Digital Media and/or Audio / Visual (A/V) experience
  • 2+ years of experience hosting high profile client events
  • 2+ years of experience working with cutting edge technology such as touch screens, mobile and tablet devices, and mobile apps
  • Experience working with C-Level Executives
  • Intermediate proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate proficiency with Crestron A/V control systems or similar
  • Based in Washington, DC
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
  • Employees are

    required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Information Technology project coordination experience
  • Proactive, self-starter with demonstrated organizational skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of virtual engagement and meeting platforms such as Webex, Zoom, etc.
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital signage technologies, such as Signet, Brightsign, etc.
  • Intermediate experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS operating systems
