DescriptionSAIC is looking for a well-qualified Technical Services Analyst to join an exciting program in Washington DC.As a member of the Navy LPD-17 Flight II

and II Amphibious Ships Design team, candidate will be responsible for

receiving, reviewing and tracking Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Test

Procedure and Environmental Quality Notices (EQN) Reviews to help identify and

task System Engineering Manager (SEM) and stakeholders to keep the paperwork

associated with the LPD Acquisition moving and routed to the correct

stakeholders within the Navy. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited

to:

Conductingpackage content pre-reviews to advise the SEM of the package content.

Workingwith document originators to confirm that packages are complete includingfiles, attachments and that they are fully functional prior to SEM formalreview.

Developing,maintaining and providing Configuration Manager (CM) Lead weekly statusreports.

QualificationsTYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BSor BA degree and 2 years experience or Master's degree. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Requiresa general understanding of technical disciplines associated with developing:

DetailedDesign of Ships (hull structures, outfitting, piping, mechanical, electricaland combat systems).

Environmentalqualification including reviewing incoming CDRLs and determining reviewdisposition.

Familiaritywith the NAVSEA Technical Warrant Holders (TWH) structure and their engineeringagents.

2 Yearsof database management experience.

Backgroundin ship design, construction and/or acquisition.

Generalknowledge of Navy systems and organizational structure

ShipWork Breakdown Structure (SWBS) breakdown structure

Shiplayout, architecture and nomenclature (FWD/AFT/PORT/STBD, frames, decks. etc.)

NAVSEAOrganization (TWH, System Design Manager, ISEA and stakeholders in the shipdesign review process)

OnlineRepositories (IDE)

Familiaritywith using an internet-based repository/IDE, where the CDRLs, TechnicalProcedures, and EQN data resides

Desired Qualifications

Experience working within a NAVSEA Ship Design Team is a plus.

Knowledge of LPD or Amphibious Ship Design is a plus.

StrongMS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills Required.

ExcellentOral, Written and Presentation Skills.
