management officials within the Office of the Assistant Attorney
General of the National Security Division. They are responsible for
a variety of special projects and assignments of a highly sensitive

Interprets administrative policies and plans and determines

Plans and develops new methods for coordinating the

coordinates to ensure all security clearances are in place for
attendees.
Manages and prepares a wide variety of correspondence received
from within and outside the organization that includes
conducting research, consulting with appropriate officials, and
presenting recommendations on how to proceed.
Reviews correspondence to ensure that responses are consistent
with DOJ policies and procedures.
Serves as the Administrative Liaison for the Office of the
Assistant Attorney General and supports the daily operations of
the office.

QualificationsTo qualify for the position of Staff Assistant, (GS-0301-12),
you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND
possess the required specialized experience specific to this series
and grade.
If you are a current government employee on a permanent appointment
in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year
(52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade
requirements for this occupational series and grade.

certificate.To qualify for the Staff Assistant, GS-301-12, you must have:

content; and 3) Preparing written responses to inquiries regarding
